Dr Ira Byock of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical School to present keynote address

Most Rev. Robert J. McManus, Bishop of Worcester, will ordain eight men to the permanent diaconate on June 9 at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Paul, Chatham and High Streets, Worcester. They are Keith Caplette, Timothy Cross, Brian Gadbois, Michael Hafferty, William Hays, William Shea, Brian Stidsen, and Ky Tran

Most Rev. Robert J. McManus, STD, Bishop of Worcester, will ordain four men to the order of presbyter, or priesthood, to serve the people of the Diocese of Worcester. They are Deacon Eric Assante, Deacon Hugo Cano, Deacon Michael Clements, and Deacon Jonathan Slavinskas.

St. Patrick Church in Whitinsville will be preparing to welcome in the New Year with the ordination of Deacon Juan Herrera on December 31at 10:00 am. Most Rev. Robert J. McManus, S.T.D., Bishop of Worcester, will be the ordaining bishop and Father Michael Broderick, pastor of St. Patrick Parish, will vest him in the stole and chasuble as part of the ordination rite.
